Who is Focus On Intervention?
Focus On Intervention (FOI) is your statewide Early Return to Work resource. All Focus On Intervention counselors are highly skilled and experienced in the Return to Work process. We are specialists in Labor Code compliance for employee/employer agreed upon job descriptions. We coordinate and obtain physician determination of Return to Work status. We also specialize in on-site job analysis, development of company-wide Early Return to Work Programs, and ergonomic evaluations.

Why Choose Focus On Intervention?

Since our inception in 1991, our company’s success has been built upon consistently providing good service to our customers and clients. Our Early Return to Work services produce significant savings for you by measurably reducing the cost of workers’ vocational rehabilitation by combining a no-nonsense approach with aggressive efforts to spearhead the return to work of injured employees into transitional or permanent modified/ alternate positions.

We Focus on details, we respond quickly and we realize the importance of keeping you updated. Our systematic control throughout the process ensures all proper documentation and adherence to required time frames, avoiding costly penalties. With our approach we strive to promote good will between injured workers and their employers leading to a successful transition and return to the workplace, minimizing the costs to the company.

Understanding the Worker’s Compensation process from the perspective of all participants, i.e., insurance carriers, injured workers, attorneys, rehabilitation unit consultants, medical providers, and employers, enables us to facilitate the sequence of events in a timely manner. Our focus is on returning the injured worker back to work as soon as medically possible. First to temporary transitional assignments, then to full duty or modified/alternate work with the pre-injury employer.

Our goal is to reestablish the relationship between employee and employer and to return the employee back to the pre-injury employer.
